Loving Stork Charities Foundation, Inc. provides education, information and support throughout the adoption process. We work throughout the state of Florida and we are very knowledgeable on the adoption law to enable you to safely adopt a newborn or toddler, usually in less than 12 months.

Because we have over 30 years experience working with birthmothers and the adoption laws in Florida, we can eliminate many problems and concerns that will assure you of a safe, legal adoption. Forget the negative domestic adoption stories you've heard. Many people believe that the birth mother can come back "ANY" time and reclaim their child. This is absolutely not true. In fact in Florida, except for fraud or duress, the surrenders the birth parents sign 48 hours after birth are totally final and irrevocable.

We at Loving Stork know your fears and anxieties. We have been there, too. We are adoptive parents also and will help you through the entire process which can otherwise be an overwhelming, complicated, time-consuming and frustrating process. We help you avoid and overcome difficulties, disappointments and obstacles. We're with you every step of the way to guide you or even just to provide a listening ear.

Yes, the birthparents do, for the most part choose the adoptive family for their child. Wouldn't you want to choose who would raise your child in the event you could not? Neither Loving Stork nor the birthparents are looking for perfect, flawless parents.

You don't have to be perfect, live in a million dollar home or make a huge salary. That isn't all it takes to be good parents. We (and the birthparents) are looking for warm, loving people who can give a child the stability, love and security they deserve. Many birthparents will consider single and older parents.

We work very diligently with birthparents and provide them with excellent 24 hour counseling 7 days a week. We are there for them every step of the way just as we are for you.

Loving Stork Charities Foundation, Inc. assesses the desires and the objectives of each adoption. Preferences may include ethnic background of Birthparent(s), religious preferences, birthmother's support, openness of relationship with birthparent(s), etc. Loving Stork staff will discuss your needs and desires on a very personal level with you and assist in the matchmaking process.

We will also guide prospective parents in completing the required confidential home study.

Loving Stork staff will professionally assess and screen all birthparents. Birthparents will have extensive counseling and support from our professional staff throughout the pregnancy, placement, and long after.
Loving Stork staff will help adoptive parents develop a unique personal profile that appeals to the interest of a wide variety of Birthparent(s).
An Adoptive Parent's profile is shown to prospective Birthparent(s) throughout the state of Florida. Loving Stork staff spends tireless hours reaching out to prospective birthmothers on behalf of adoptive parents.
